Responsibilities
- Build and integrate APIs that improve the customer journey.
- Optimize Lendable’s lending platforms and contribute to new product initiatives.
- Participate in deep architectural discussions and help shape the future of the products.
- Develop modern PHP applications and collaborate across backend, frontend, mobile, and platform disciplines.
- Write and maintain automated unit, integration, and functional tests.
- Contribute ideas, take ownership of decisions, and work autonomously in a collaborative team.
Requirements
- Modern PHP development experience, with PHP 8.0+ required.
- Strong knowledge of Symfony or Laravel.
- Experience with Domain-Driven Design, CQRS, message-driven systems, and event sourcing.
- Excellent automated testing skills across unit, integration, and functional testing.
- A business-oriented engineering mindset and willingness to learn and collaborate.
- Experience with microservices architecture and financial systems is a bonus.
- Cross-functional experience is advantageous but not essential.
