Base Salary
$230k - $262k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deliver machine learning models and components for business problems.
- Build and scale multi-tenant platforms for large-scale ML model training and serving.
- Make ML infrastructure decisions based on modeling techniques, data, feature selection, training, tuning, and validation.
- Write and test application code, develop and validate ML models, and automate testing and deployment.
- Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and cross-functional Agile teams on big data and ML applications.
- Retrain, maintain, and monitor models in production.
- Build or leverage cloud architectures and platforms to deliver optimized ML models at scale.
- Construct data pipelines for ML models and apply continuous integration, deployment, test automation, and monitoring practices.
- Manage code and model governance while following responsible and explainable AI practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- At least 6 years of programming experience with Python, Java, Golang, or C++.
- At least 6 years of machine learning experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow and libraries including Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
- At least 6 years of experience using and operating large-scale distributed systems such as Spark and Ray for AI or ML data preparation.
- At least 4 years of experience deploying and operating ML solutions in production and operating cloud production services using AWS, GCP, or Azure and Kubernetes.
- Preferred: master's or doctoral degree in a related field.
- Preferred: 5 or more years optimizing ML algorithms, configurations, and infrastructure; developing resilient production software; designing ML data pipelines; and applying ML techniques, architectures, training concepts, and evaluation methods.
- Preferred: ML industry impact through conference presentations, papers, blog posts, open-source contributions, or patents.
- Ability to communicate complex technical and machine learning concepts clearly to varied audiences.
