  • Configure and tune active safety software for different vehicle platforms, sensor configurations, geometries, and braking performance.
  • Implement targeted C++ or Python adaptations, debugging tools, and analysis workflows.
  • Measure functional performance through recorded-data replay and in-vehicle testing.
  • Support vehicle bring-up, software flashing, data logging, testing, and functional validation.
  • Coordinate with global customer and NVIDIA engineering teams to identify root causes and drive program-level and longer-term product solutions.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of ADAS development and triage experience, including in-vehicle activities.
  • Strong understanding of active safety functions, hazard mitigation, and functional safety principles.
  • Experience designing and implementing threat assessment algorithms such as time-to-collision, along with longitudinal and lateral intervention planners.
  • Understanding of radar and camera perception outputs, including object confidence and classification uncertainty.
  • Proficiency in Linux and/or QNX-based embedded environments.
  • Ability to isolate issues through log analysis, data review, and cross-functional technical coordination.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Automotive Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Excellent technical communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and readiness for road testing and travel.
  • Preferred experience includes production camera- and radar-based active safety systems, ADAS customer integration, commercial-vehicle programs, Euro NCAP protocols, fleet-data triage, corner-case analysis, and AI/ML or deep-neural-network perception workflows.
