Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable services.
- Collaborate with architects and software engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Deliver maintainable, robust, and testable code.
- Evolve and design services supporting and monitoring video streaming.
- Share knowledge with developers across the business.
- Mentor software engineers on design patterns and coding standards.
- Own systems that monitor DAZN resource usage, enforce partner rights restrictions, and protect user accounts.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience.
- Expertise in Node.js.
- Enterprise experience creating APIs with web frameworks such as Fastify or Express.
- Experience working with Git.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests.
- Experience with cloud and/or microservices, preferably AWS.
- Experience building services that handle high, spiky loads.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Experience working in a build-it-and-own-it model.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and service monitoring.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Very good communication skills in English with people at all seniority levels.
