Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance application systems and programs using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Analyze code and applications to identify enhancements, vulnerabilities, and security issues.
  • Design programming solutions, conduct testing and debugging, and install and support application systems.
  • Consult with users, clients, and technology groups to resolve issues and recommend solutions.
  • Identify problems, evaluate information, and implement solutions with limited direct supervision.
  • Advise or coach new and lower-level analysts and act as a subject matter expert for stakeholders and team members.
  • Assess risk, follow applicable laws and policies, and escalate and report control issues transparently.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the financial services industry.
  • Intermediate-level experience in an applications development role.
  • Primary skills in Java and Spring Boot.
  • Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or changing requirements.
