Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build streaming data pipelines that ingest network telemetry at scale.
- Develop automated remediation services that respond to network signals in real time.
- Create diagnostic tooling for identifying and resolving issues not addressed by automation.
- Participate in code reviews, mentor engineers, and promote reliable, well-documented software.
- Collaborate with network engineers, data scientists, and product partners to translate operational needs into system designs.
- Investigate operational root causes and improve technical processes, tools, and code quality.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems for reliability and scalability.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of Object Oriented Design experience.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
