Base Salary
$172k - $278k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop features for the automated antivirus signature-generation and delivery system.
- Research and implement signature algorithms for new file formats.
- Research and develop novel security and malware-detection features.
- Research and publish innovations and emerging security trends.
Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
- 6 to 8+ years of relevant experience preferred.
- Experience with Python or Golang programming.
- Strong computer engineering fundamentals, including databases, operating systems, and algorithms.
- Working knowledge of common file formats such as PE, Office, and PDF.
- Experience with reverse engineering and malware analysis.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, SMTP, and other core Internet protocols.
- Experience with data-pipeline systems containing multiple moving components in a distributed cloud environment.
- Experience developing in public cloud environments such as GCP or AWS.
- Linux troubleshooting and virtualization experience.
- Experience implementing security solutions using AI.
- Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge or experience with Docker, Elastic-Search, Kafka, RabbitMQ, MySQL, SQLite, and Redis is a plus.
