Responsibilities
- Implement a data analytics engine and application using a Hadoop software stack.
- Refine application requirements in collaboration with product management.
- Research implementation options and present viable alternatives and technology-impact assessments to architects and product management.
- Work under the guidance of senior developers and architects.
Requirements
- Be a recent or soon-to-be graduate from Computer Science or a related field with co-op experience.
- Have coursework or work experience with Java.
- Coursework or work experience with Hadoop, Spark, Solr, Lucene, Agile development, test-driven development, continuous integration, service-oriented architecture, or web services technologies such as REST, JSON, or Thrift is an asset.
- Be legally authorized to work in Canada.
