Base Salary
$145k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define standards for infrastructure automation, developer tooling, and self-service platform capabilities.
- Design and evolve platform architecture, including integration, extensibility, abstraction layers, and maintainability patterns.
- Architect and deliver self-service solutions for engineering teams.
- Address organization-wide platform challenges and anticipate scaling, reliability, and usability needs.
- Drive platform adoption through documentation, training, and cross-team communication.
- Partner with product, infrastructure, and application teams to align platform capabilities with business and engineering needs.
Requirements
- Expert-level experience with PHP and strong proficiency in Go or Python.
- Deep Linux systems experience, including administration, automation, and infrastructure management at scale.
- Proven experience architecting and operating self-service platform solutions for engineering teams.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Leadership experience influencing and mentoring engineers and shaping technical direction without direct authority.
