Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cyber resilience and recovery tooling.
- Build scalable, maintainable, secure, and performant software solutions.
- Develop responsive and accessible front-end applications using React or Angular.
- Develop Go backend services, REST APIs, and integrations.
- Build distributed microservices that orchestrate workflows across multiple infrastructure environments.
- Implement event streaming, state management, and integrations with enterprise governance systems.
- Create GitLab CI/CD automation for building, testing, scanning, and deploying applications.
- Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot containerized applications on Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Partner with infrastructure, security, and application teams to improve recovery times and operational efficiency.
- Own key architectural decisions, mentor team members, and contribute to platform scalability, reliability, and security.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, secure coding, and technology communities.
- Manage and mitigate risks while strengthening controls related to the team’s work.
Requirements
- Experience with React or Angular front-end development, including responsive and accessible user interfaces.
- Experience with Go backend development, REST API design, and service integration.
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines for build, test, scan, and deployment automation.
- Experience deploying, running, and troubleshooting containerized applications on Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Knowledge of TypeScript and modern front-end tooling and patterns is highly valued.
- Knowledge of API security and integration technologies including OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, and mTLS is highly valued.
- Experience with data stores, messaging, Helm, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and logging is highly valued.
- Experience with cloud and containerization technologies and transforming legacy applications into cloud-native microservices architectures.
- Ability to provide technical leadership, make architectural decisions, mentor colleagues, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to assess risks, communicate effectively, and work across infrastructure, security, and application teams.
