Base Salary

$73k - $136k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines and supporting automation for builds, releases, deployments, testing, validation, and delivery activities.
  • Develop reusable Azure Pipelines templates, tasks, scripts, variables, deployment patterns, APIs, service hooks, webhooks, and utilities.
  • Implement DevSecOps stage gates, quality gates, approvals, security checks, automated testing, and controls that prevent invalid releases or deployments.
  • Integrate Azure DevOps Boards, Repos, Pipelines, testing tools, security tools, PeopleSoft migration processes, and external release-management platforms.
  • Automate packaging, artifact versioning, promotion, migrations, deployments, notifications, evidence collection, monitoring, recovery, and post-deployment verification.
  • Troubleshoot pipelines, Git repositories, scripts, APIs, authentication, testing tools, security tooling, deployment tools, service connections, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Implement secure service connections, identities, credentials, secrets management, certificates, network connectivity, and least-privilege access.
  • Maintain documentation, integration specifications, automation standards, deployment procedures, technical diagrams, and operational support guidance.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, backlog refinement, demonstrations, testing, release readiness, and Agile/SAFe delivery activities.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship and an active Secret security clearance or higher are required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, release automation, software engineering, systems integration, or related enterprise environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, especially Azure Repos/Git and Azure Pipelines.
  • Experience designing, developing, troubleshooting, and maintaining CI/CD, release, and deployment pipelines with governed testing, security validation, approvals, stage gates, artifact promotion, and deployment controls.
  • Experience developing reusable pipeline templates, scripts, tasks, automation components, and integrations using REST APIs, service hooks, webhooks, command-line interfaces, or comparable mechanisms.
  • Experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or comparable scripting and programming technologies.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps REST APIs, service connections, variable groups, secure files, pipeline artifacts, environments, approvals, checks, Boards, and related capabilities.
  • Knowledge of Git repositories, branching strategies, pull requests, merges, tagging, versioning, and code-review workflows.
  • Experience integrating automated testing, security validation, vulnerability scanning, static analysis, dependency or artifact scanning, logging, monitoring, exception handling, and troubleshooting into delivery workflows.
  • Experience with REST APIs, JSON, authentication, service accounts, certificates, secrets, and secure system-to-system integration.
  • Working knowledge of software delivery lifecycle activities including source control, testing, security validation, configuration management, release management, deployment, rollback, and production support.
  • Preferred experience includes PeopleSoft, PHIRE, STAT, Change Assistant, PeopleTools, PeopleSoft Test Framework, Tricentis Tosca, Selenium, Playwright, SQL, Oracle, Docker, Kubernetes, OCI, Terraform, artifact repositories, cloud deployment automation, and secured Federal or DoD systems.
  • Azure DevOps, Microsoft, DevOps, DevSecOps, cloud, SAFe, or related certification is a plus.
