Base Salary
$165k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build backend services and APIs for patient booking, clinician routing, logistics, and medical-device integrations.
- Ship full-stack product features spanning data modeling, business logic, UI, and user flows.
- Solve large-scale operational challenges involving scheduling, dispatch, safety checks, and error prevention.
- Integrate reliably and securely with external health systems, telemedicine platforms, and medical devices.
- Collaborate with product, data, operations, design, and clinical teams to turn real-world problems into shipped software.
- Own projects from 0→1, make architectural decisions, and help evolve engineering practices.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience building and scaling backend or full-stack production systems.
- Experience designing APIs, data models, and services for user-facing products.
- Experience leading projects or pods from architecture and planning through delivery and iteration.
- Experience shipping features independently and with cross-functional partners.
- Experience making technical decisions that balance speed, scalability, and maintainability.
- Experience working in environments where speed, reliability, and ambiguity coexist, such as startups, high-growth teams, or 0→1 products.
- Preferred experience in health tech, logistics, or other operationally complex domains.
- Preferred understanding of forecasting, routing, scheduling, inventory management, data platforms, pipelines, or large-scale data processing.
- Preferred familiarity with regulated environments, HIPAA, security, and privacy best practices.
- Preferred experience in mid- or growth-stage Series A–C startups.
