Base Salary
$130k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build scalable features for the Insights practice management platform supporting thousands of practices and millions of users.
- Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications using ReactJS, Python, and PostgreSQL.
- Improve reliability and observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting practices.
- Optimize web application performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and backend teams to improve availability and resilience.
- Own multi-month, high-impact projects while balancing speed and quality.
- Conduct code reviews and drive best practices and architectural improvements.
- Partner with product and design teams to create intuitive experiences for healthcare providers and staff.
Requirements
- Require 3+ years of professional software development experience focused on scalable full-stack applications.
- Require proficiency in JavaScript, React or Vue, Python, and PostgreSQL.
- Require experience owning high-impact projects and balancing technical trade-offs.
- Require understanding of frontend engineering, React fundamentals, performance optimization, state management, and component-driven design.
- Require experience with complex backend systems, API design, and database performance optimization.
- Require strong debugging, problem-solving, monitoring, logging, and alerting skills.
- Require strong communication skills for presenting technical concepts to leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Prefer scalable web architecture, frontend performance optimization, data visualization, interactive dashboards, developer tooling, frontend CI/CD pipelines, GraphQL, REST, gRPC, BFF architectures, open-source or technical writing contributions, and experience in regulated industries with security and compliance.
