Responsibilities
- Deliver small-to-medium software features independently across the In-Store team’s domain and components.
- Build and improve integrations with POS partners and systems so customer orders flow reliably through the Olo ecosystem.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and stakeholders to define requirements and make component-level design decisions.
- Write testable, readable, and maintainable code.
- Troubleshoot production issues, participate in incident management, and help improve system reliability.
- Participate in on-call duties based on the assigned team and area of expertise.
- Contribute to documentation, estimation, retrospectives, and team knowledge sharing.
- Use Claude Code and GitHub Copilot extensively in daily development and participate in AI coding-agent training.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of software engineering experience after graduation.
- Good experience with the .NET and C# ecosystem.
- Working knowledge of distributed-system architectural patterns, including microservices and event-driven architecture using Kafka.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and services such as AWS and Kubernetes/EKS.
- Experience implementing DevOps practices with GitHub Actions, Octopus Deploy, and Terraform.
- Ability to make sound component-level design decisions and weigh architectural trade-offs.
