Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain, and support secure, scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
- Develop reusable, modular, and governed Infrastructure-as-Code deployments using Terraform.
- Administer HashiCorp Vault for secrets and credentials management and integrate it with CI/CD pipelines.
- Build, optimize, and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and security scanning.
- Define and enhance cloud service catalogues and self-service platform capabilities for engineering teams.
- Implement Azure governance using Azure AD, RBAC, and native IAM capabilities.
- Provide third-line support for cloud platform incidents and coordinate with vendors when required.
- Monitor platform performance, improve reliability and efficiency, and support upgrades, maintenance, and patching.
- Maintain technical documentation, architectural standards, operational procedures, and contribute to engineering knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Security, Development, and infrastructure teams to deliver secure, compliant, cost-effective cloud solutions.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience managing and automating Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
- Advanced knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code best practices, including reusable modules for large-scale deployments.
- Experience implementing and administering HashiCorp Vault and integrating secrets management into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong experience building and maintaining Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Good understanding of Azure networking, identity, security, governance, and self-service platform capabilities.
- Scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Solid understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure cloud architecture.
- Proven experience designing, building, and supporting enterprise cloud platforms in regulated environments.
- Experience improving developer productivity through automation and self-service platforms.
- Strong collaboration experience across infrastructure, security, and development teams.
- Desirable certifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400), HashiCorp Terraform Associate, HashiCorp Vault Certification, and ITIL Foundation or equivalent service management knowledge.
- Equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered.
