Responsibilities
- Serve as a deep technical advisor to high-growth, tech-forward companies building AI use cases with Claude.
- Partner hands-on with customer engineering teams through pair programming, architecture reviews, and code contributions.
- Develop prototypes, evaluation suites, technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and scalable architectures.
- Collaborate with Applied AI Architects and contribute engagement insights to Product, Engineering, and the Applied AI team.
- Create developer documentation, tutorials, sample code, and technical content.
- Facilitate hackathons, webinars, technical office hours, developer events, workshops, and customer implementation support.
- Travel to customer sites for workshops, implementation support, and relationship building.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, or technical founder.
- Experience in a customer-facing or pre-sales technical role scoping, designing, and delivering solutions.
- Production experience building LLM-powered applications, including prompting, context engineering, agent architectures, evaluation frameworks, and deployment at scale.
- Strong programming skills with proficiency in Python and experience building production applications.
- Experience working with high-growth, tech-forward companies and across industries such as healthcare and fintech.
- Demonstrated builder credibility through shipped products and the ability to advise technical founders and engineering leaders.
- Strong technical communication skills for translating AI concepts into architectural decisions and implementation plans.
- Experience facilitating technical workshops, hackathons, or developer-focused events.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in a relevant field or through relevant coursework, training, or professional experience.
Benefits
- Annual salary range of £225,000–£255,000 GBP.
