Responsibilities
- Present Snowflake’s technology, vision, roadmap, and functionality to executives, technical contributors, prospects, and customers.
- Demonstrate Snowflake’s value throughout the sales cycle, including demos, proof-of-concepts, solution design, and implementation.
- Create and develop technical champions to drive deals and achieve technical wins.
- Understand customer business problems and apply Snowflake solutions to address them.
- Collaborate with account sales teams, channel partners, Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, sales engineers, and implementation partners.
- Build joint architectures and account strategies with ecosystem and implementation partners.
- Maintain knowledge of competitive and complementary technologies and represent Snowflake at industry and customer events.
Requirements
- Experience in sales engineering or solution architecture in a SaaS environment, or relevant experience in analytics, data science, data engineering, or a related industry.
- Outstanding presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences, including impromptu whiteboarding, presentations, and demonstrations.
- Understanding of and experience with data architecture, data analytics, and cloud technology.
- Hands-on experience with SQL.
- Ability to solve customer-specific business problems and apply Snowflake solutions.
- Strong customer-facing written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with Python.
- Preferred: experience with modern data technologies such as dbt, Spark, containers, DevOps tooling, orchestration tools, and Git.
- Preferred: experience with data science and machine learning technology.
