Base Salary
$171k - $351k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and own end-to-end generative AI and LLM applications for new e-commerce experiences.
- Develop and manage production AI infrastructure, including vector databases, high-throughput inference, and real-time context-enrichment data pipelines.
- Build and maintain RAG frameworks grounded in product catalogs, user history, and operational knowledge bases.
- Implement prompt engineering, agentic designs, and complex LLM chains for stable intelligent software services.
- Enforce AI reliability, monitoring, and safety practices while reducing hallucinations and optimizing large-scale costs.
- Rapidly prototype and productionize new AI capabilities.
Requirements
- At least three years of software engineering experience with strong coding and code review skills.
- Deep specialization in leveraging LLMs, generative AI systems, and AI productivity tools.
- Experience owning end-to-end generative AI applications, including agents, conversational interfaces, RAG pipelines, LLM fine-tuning, and AI-powered automation.
- Proven track record taking AI-first products from concept to production with measurable product or operational impact.
- Strong understanding of prompt engineering, LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain and LlamaIndex, vector databases, semantic search architectures, and scalable MLOps.
- Experience in high-traffic consumer AI environments, such as assistants, search and recommendation systems, or generative content platforms, is preferred.
- Experience contributing to cross-functional AI research and product engineering teams and launching zero-to-one generative AI products is preferred.
- Exposure to e-commerce search and experience deploying non-deterministic systems at scale are preferred.
