Responsibilities
- Design, code, maintain, and enhance scalable MES and non-MES software applications.
- Develop and maintain SQL Server stored procedures, views, jobs, and SSIS packages.
- Analyze business processes and system requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Create and maintain technical specifications, user manuals, and system reports.
- Provide ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, extended support, and after-hours on-call coverage for MES applications.
- Collaborate with IT team members and cross-functional departments across multiple countries.
- Gather requirements from system users and provide training or assistance.
- Implement enhancements that improve system functionality, performance, and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience with the .NET framework, C#, and VB.NET.
- At least 2 years of experience with T-SQL, including stored procedures, views, jobs, and SSIS.
- Proficiency with .NET, C#, VB.NET, and SQL Server.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with urgency and reliability for 24/7 application support.
- Preferred qualifications include 4+ years of .NET development, 5+ years of C# and VB.NET programming, and 3+ years of advanced T-SQL experience.
- Preferred or desired experience includes ActiveMQ, MSMQ, XML, JSON, terminal services configuration, Visual Studio 2019 or higher, Windows Services, ASP.NET MVC, WPF, JIRA, Angular 15 or newer, .NET 8.0, Python, data analysis, and manufacturing IT.
