Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain automated cloud environments.
- Improve and uphold coding, development, operations, and departmental technical standards.
- Productionize new technologies and introduce industry best practices.
- Provide technical leadership in DevOps, cloud automation, infrastructure as code, and cloud operations.
- Contribute to DevOps team development through recruiting, mentorship, and Agile practice promotion.
- Create professional architecture, repository, and best-practice documentation.
- Work independently and collaboratively to design and build organizational solutions.
Requirements
- Require 6–10+ years of cloud engineering experience, 3+ years of hands-on DevOps engineering experience, and 2+ years of software development experience.
- Require software development, Git, source control, CI/CD, and inline documentation skills.
- Require proficiency with Terraform and CDK.
- Require Python and Bash scripting, Ansible, Helm, Make, and automation skills.
- Require strong AWS and cloud knowledge, including networking, EKS/ECS, WAF, Lambda, API Gateway, and IAM.
- Require technical implementation experience with security standards, disaster recovery, high availability, and reliability engineering.
- Bonus qualifications include CDK with Python or TypeScript, AWS Control Tower, AWS Organizations, SCP, AWS Config, Java, Go, JavaScript, frontend or backend development, AWS or cloud certifications, Harness CI/CD, and GitHub Actions.
