Senior Platform Engineer

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the operational aspects of the platform, including vulnerability remediation, logging, monitoring, auditability, and data security.
- Lead platform availability, resilience, scalability, architecture alignment, and configuration improvements.
- Provision and deploy solutions across lines of business and collaborate with software engineers to ensure applications operate effectively on the platform.
- Monitor platform support channels and resolve customer questions and issues.
- Improve file storage processes, governance, audit, legal, retention, data classification, labeling, encryption, pipelines, and automation practices.
- Use scripting languages and DevOps, container orchestration, configuration management, and cloud tools to automate and improve the platform.
- Explain application capabilities and limitations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification is required.
- At least 4 years of experience using build and deployment tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, or Artifactory is required.
- At least 2 years of experience with AWS is required.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: 2+ years administering Google Workspace or a similar enterprise productivity suite.
- Preferred: experience with Google GenAI, LLM platforms, agentic AI, or SaaS AI capabilities.
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience with AWS and/or GCP.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience with Agile practices.
- Experience with application security, integration, content management technologies, and REST APIs is expected.
