Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operate end-to-end cloud, hybrid, and on-premise integrations using SAP BTP Integration Suite.
- Build modular, reusable iFlows with routing, splitting, gathering, message mapping, and transformation patterns for JSON, XML, CSV, and other enterprise formats.
- Use Groovy scripting and persistence patterns to implement transformations, enrichment, validation, idempotency, retries, correlation, and resilient execution.
- Design secure APIs with authentication, authorization, throttling, versioning, observability, and lifecycle management, and integrate third-party applications through connectors.
- Develop AI-native integration capabilities including iFlow generation, retrieval-grounded recommendations, mapping and configuration assistance, anomaly detection, prediction, and conversational troubleshooting.
- Create automated integration testing, payload regression, replay testing, API verification, AI evaluation harnesses, monitoring dashboards, alerts, release gates, and operational traceability.
- Apply integration strategy, advisory, governance, standardization, migration, modernization, and integration-maturity practices across teams.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience is required.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Strong hands-on expertise with SAP BTP Integration Suite, cloud integration, iFlows, monitoring, message mappings, routing patterns, and enterprise data transformations.
- Practical Groovy scripting experience for advanced integration customization and performance tuning.
- Solid API design and management fundamentals, including security, throttling, versioning, lifecycle management, and observability.
- Capability to build tool-augmented, retrieval-grounded AI workflows with measurable evaluation loops, guardrails, and safe action boundaries.
- Event-driven integration, enterprise messaging, connector-based SaaS integrations, legacy-platform migration, integration governance, and advisory experience are strongly beneficial.
