Responsibilities

Design secure and scalable cloud architectures within the Rakuten Cloud Platform.
Provide technical expertise to reduce risk and optimize cloud solution performance.
Support complex cloud initiatives aligned with customer objectives and business outcomes.
Deliver Rakuten Mobile Infrastructure support for Rakuten Cloud and other customers.
Collaborate with customers and internal teams on cloud adoption, optimization, and operations.
Automate and streamline cloud operations through scripting and configuration management.

Expertise in Linux system administration, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification or equivalent hands-on Kubernetes experience.
Proficiency with Ansible for automation and configuration management.
Understanding of cloud compute, storage, networking, and automation frameworks.
Understanding of Identity and Access Management and security vulnerability mitigation.
Experience with virtualization technologies and containerized environments.
Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, and other automation tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Preferred qualifications include a B.E., B.Tech, or BCA.
Fluent English proficiency is required.
