Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Internal Developer Platform features and components with a focus on usability, scalability, and performance.
- Integrate CI/CD, monitoring, security, cloud services, and other internal and external tools into the platform.
- Automate seamless developer workflows and improve build and deployment processes.
- Provide technical guidance, documentation, advocacy, and support to development teams using the platform.
- Collaborate with product owners, engineers, and stakeholders on requirements, feature prioritization, and platform roadmap planning.
- Improve platform reliability, security, developer experience, and performance through monitoring, refactoring, and tuning.
- Influence platform architecture, technical direction, and technology selection.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, platform, or software engineering roles focused on infrastructure and developer tooling.
- Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining Internal Developer Platforms or large-scale developer tooling ecosystems.
- Strong expertise in one or more of TypeScript/JavaScript, Go, Python, or Node.js; React.js experience is especially relevant for frontend platform development.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and a deep understanding of compute, storage, networking, and IAM services.
- Required experience with Docker and Kubernetes; Helm Charts experience is a plus.
- Strong proficiency designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.
- Solid Infrastructure as Code experience with tools such as Terraform.
- Business-level English communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred experience includes GCP environment management, web service operations, monitoring and troubleshooting, server-side web service development, Kafka Streams or Kafka Connect, business analysis, automated testing in CI/CD, microservices, Cassandra or other NoSQL databases, and multicultural or multigenerational teamwork.
