Responsibilities
- Deliver backend solutions end-to-end from data modeling through APIs and evaluation logic.
- Contribute to the design of core identity security posture systems and author technical design documents.
- Participate in architectural discussions and design reviews, raising trade-offs and edge cases.
- Construct and scale high-performance backend services using Go.
- Design, model, and optimize database schemas for large-scale multi-tenant identity workloads.
- Implement event-driven workflows using Kafka for asynchronous processing.
- Maintain operational reliability and service health through monitoring setups.
- Collaborate with team members to align on feature scope and deliver key results.
- Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software development experience, with ~2 years in backend services.
- Extensive backend production experience with Go, including clean design patterns and thorough testing.
- Good system design skills with experience in scalable, multi-tenant, event-driven systems.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar event-streaming technologies.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.
- Strong communication skills for detailing technical trade-offs and collaborating with team members.
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to make decisions with partial data.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted software development workflows and tools.
