Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance algorithmic execution business logic using Java for the Equities Cash platform.
- Translate researched ideas into production-ready solutions in collaboration with quantitative researchers and business partners.
- Build scalable, low-latency trading platform infrastructure with IT teams.
- Maintain high-quality, robust, and maintainable code using stringent software engineering standards.
- Support rapid delivery, team capacity expansion, and trading performance improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a quantitative field.
- Typically 7+ years of relevant professional experience developing agency-execution algorithm business logic.
- Primarily Java development experience; C# experience is also considered.
- Comprehensive knowledge of trading rules and market structures in Asia-Pacific markets.
- Deep understanding of multithreaded programming and scalable, low-latency solutions.
- Experience with agile development methodologies, automated testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong engineering mindset focused on collaboration, code quality, and scalability.
