Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on DevOps consulting expertise directly within customer projects.
- Support the full software development lifecycle from an operations perspective.
- Automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Use Infrastructure-as-Code tools to automate infrastructure management.
- Monitor and continuously optimize customer on-premise and cloud infrastructure.
- Manage alerting, monitoring, and tracing to support reliable application operation.
- Collaborate with developers and testers in agile cross-functional teams.
- Represent the operations perspective to development teams, Product Owners, and other project stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least three years of DevOps experience and prior experience in software development.
- Completed IT degree or comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.
- Experience with Java, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, Linux, Docker, and SRE.
- Strong knowledge of implementing CI/CD pipelines and developing and deploying Java and web applications.
- Familiarity with microservice architectures and API design, including REST and messaging.
- Basic understanding of network infrastructure, including routing, load balancing, and DNS.
- Experience working in agile cross-functional teams is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and openness toward colleagues and customers.
- Fluent German and good English skills.
- Target-oriented, structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style.
