Responsibilities
- Build and optimize backend services and task-based pipelines for ingesting, analyzing, and comparing multi-GB mobile builds and large screenshot sets.
- Own product functionality end to end, from CI uploads through data presentation in the user interface.
- Develop and maintain GitHub integrations including pull-request status checks, comments, approvals, webhooks, and failure edge cases.
- Ship performant frontend features including treemaps, build comparisons, and image-diff viewers.
- Deploy and operate services across regions, including metrics, logging, on-call, and debugging customer builds.
- Drive product improvements based on customer feedback and proposals.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building production web services.
- Strong Python experience, preferably with Django, and a track record of typed and tested code.
- Working proficiency with React and TypeScript sufficient to deliver full features independently.
- Experience with asynchronous task systems and event pipelines, including Kafka, task queues, worker pools, idempotency, locking, and retries.
- Experience designing Postgres schemas and migrations for rolling deployments, with feature flags and reversible rollout practices.
- Performance engineering experience involving profiling, parallelism, memory reduction, and large-file streaming through object storage.
- Preferred experience with mobile build artifacts and tooling such as LIEF, bundletool, apksigner, link maps, DWARF, and code signing.
- Preferred experience with image processing, pixel-diff tooling, GitHub Apps, the Checks API, data visualization, treemaps, developer tools, CI, or observability products.
