Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and improve CDP’s central digital platform and scalable scoring systems.
- Write clean, documented code using React, TypeScript, NodeJS, and Python.
- Perform code reviews and uphold standards for quality, maintainability, and security.
- Optimize application performance and scalability.
- Contribute to architectural, design, and technical decisions with product and engineering leads.
- Refine requirements and provide technical input during sprint planning and reviews.
- Maintain technical documentation and mentor junior engineers.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, QA, UX/UI, and DevOps stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, NodeJS, and Python.
- Experience building cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure, including technologies such as Azure DevOps, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and Power BI.
- Experience contributing to large-scale, multi-product software systems.
- Comfort working in Agile and DevOps environments.
- Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Knowledge or interest in climate technology, sustainability, or environmental data platforms.
- Terraform experience is preferred.
- Experience with AI and knowledge of AI tools and systems are nice to have.

- £70,000–£80,000 annual salary.
