Responsibilities
- Architect and build Coupang’s Messaging and Caching Platform.
- Develop durable software capable of processing terabytes to petabytes of data daily.
- Continuously improve platform stability, performance, and availability to 99.99%–99.999%.
- Monitor and manage platform services and support smooth operations.
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to deliver scalable platform solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Business-level English communication skills.
- At least 5 years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale software infrastructure.
- Solid AWS cloud experience spanning software development and operations.
- Expertise in distributed systems and computing frameworks such as Kafka and Spark.
- Ability to quickly triage, troubleshoot, analyze, and solve complex technical problems.
- Strong collaboration, ownership, and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
