Responsibilities
- Architect and build Coupang’s Messaging and Caching Platform.
- Write durable software capable of processing terabytes and petabytes of data daily.
- Continuously improve platform stability and performance while achieving and maintaining 99.99% to 99.999% availability.
- Construct, monitor, and manage highly scalable, reliable, and available platform services.
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to deliver platform solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Business-level English communication skills.
- At least 5 years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale software infrastructure.
- Experience with AWS cloud environments across software development and operations.
- Expertise in distributed systems and computing frameworks such as Kafka and Spark.
- Ability to quickly triage and troubleshoot complex technical problems.
- Strong ownership, collaboration, learning ability, and interest in applying new technologies to real products.
