Responsibilities
- Fork and set up the existing .NET monolithic application and SQL database in a sandbox environment.
- Implement architectural adjustments and backend logic for insurance policy configuration.
- Integrate or validate the existing Razor-based UI and Developer Express components.
- Ensure the application is functional end-to-end and deployable in Azure.
- Collaborate with product and domain stakeholders to refine technical requirements.
- Configure infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and database dependencies with the internal team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the legacy codebase during proof-of-concept development.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of C#/.NET development experience.
- Strong expertise in monolithic architecture, backend refactoring, and legacy system modernization.
- Hands-on experience with Razor Pages and MS SQL.
- Experience deploying .NET applications to Azure or similar cloud platforms.
- Ability to independently deliver functional prototypes within compressed timelines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate directly with non-technical stakeholders.
- Insurance-domain or policy/quote management experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with Developer Express (DevExpress) UI components is preferred.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
