Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance software systems.
- Contribute to system architecture, technical design, code reviews, and cross-team engineering initiatives.
- Own and support applications during business hours, ensuring system health and reliability.
- Use metrics, logging, analytics, data, and experimentation to improve system performance and inform decisions.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, data science, design, and business teams to deliver effective solutions.
- Mentor engineers and share technical knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with at least 2 years of related experience, or an advanced degree with no prior experience.
- Proficiency in one or more modern backend programming languages such as Java or Kotlin.
- Experience building and operating large-scale, high-performance, and resilient systems.
- Strong English communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Curiosity, adaptability, willingness to learn, and readiness to take on new challenges.
- Enterprise experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools is expected.
