Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom WordPress themes, plugins, and web features.
- Manage website architecture, scalability, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Implement web application security practices, updates, and compliance controls.
- Lead code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers.
- Ensure SEO, accessibility according to WCAG, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Support deployment, release management, and production troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Require 6–8 years of experience in web or WordPress development.
- Require strong expertise in PHP, WordPress CMS, and MySQL.
- Require proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
- Require experience with plugin development and customization.
- Require exposure to cloud environments such as Azure or AWS and hosting models.
- Require knowledge of web application security best practices.
- Prefer experience with SEO optimization and analytics tools.
- Prefer familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Prefer exposure to headless CMS or microservices architecture.
