Base Salary
$106k - $189k/yr
Responsibilities
- Establish architectural standards, patterns, and reference architectures for AI solutions, including RAG, agentic workflows, model serving, and AI gateways.
- Evaluate, select, integrate, and govern AI/ML services, LLMs, AI agents, multi-agent systems, and responsible AI practices.
- Define and oversee MLOps practices for model deployment, monitoring, versioning, and lifecycle management.
- Design and implement scalable AWS cloud architectures using serverless technologies and enforce cloud standards, security, and cost guardrails.
- Lead systems design for microservices, RESTful APIs, event-driven systems, enterprise integrations, and hybrid environments.
- Develop architecture documentation, roadmaps, application rationalization plans, proof-of-concepts, and technology adoption recommendations.
- Mentor engineering teams and collaborate with business, technology, and executive stakeholders on architecture decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience with cloud technologies and IT systems, including enterprise-scale solution design and delivery.
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies, including LLMs, agentic frameworks, or cloud AI/ML services.
- Strong knowledge of LLMs, AI agents, MCP, A2A communication, prompt engineering, RAG, vector stores, responsible AI, and model evaluation.
- Hands-on experience with AWS AI/ML services including Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, Kendra, and Amazon Q Business.
- Proficiency in Python, Linux and Windows administration, AWS cloud architecture, infrastructure as code, data platforms, integration patterns, and observability.
- Preferred certifications include TOGAF, Zachman Framework, AWS Solutions Architect certifications, AWS Machine Learning Specialty, SnowPro certifications, or related AI/ML, data engineering, DevOps, and security certifications.
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, AWS Strands Agents, Open WebUI, LiteLLM, MLflow, Snowflake, AWS databases and analytics services, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform, ECS, EKS, CloudWatch, and X-Ray is preferred or required as applicable.
- Strong communication skills for presenting complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership.
