Base Salary
$141k - $211k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, develop, test, and deploy on-device prototype software for cutting-edge AI use cases.
- Enable on-device AI through model fine-tuning, hardware acceleration, model quantization, edge inference, and on-target deployment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary machine learning researchers and software engineers in a dynamic research environment.
- Apply modern software engineering practices with a focus on usability, debugging, and problem solving.
Requirements
- Strong Python and C/C++ design and implementation skills.
- Knowledge of deep learning and machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
- Strong software design skills focused on usability, along with analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in embedded software development.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience is requested in the role description.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience; or a master's degree with 1+ year; or a PhD in a related field.
- Preferred qualifications include Java programming, generative AI, Android programming, neural-network model optimization, on-target deployment, Docker, Git, and knowledge of NPUs or ML accelerators.
