Base Salary
$170k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build a responsive, high-performance React and TypeScript interface for simulation workflows.
- Implement Three.js or WebGL components to render simulation environments and sensor data in 3D.
- Architect scalable APIs for real-time telemetry and simulation control commands.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas and integrate time-series storage for high-frequency simulation logs.
- Set up and customize Grafana dashboards to monitor simulation health, resource usage, and performance metrics.
- Use Docker and Kubernetes to manage simulation workers and scale them horizontally based on demand.
- Optimize browser rendering to support smooth 60fps simulation-data playback under heavy load.
Requirements
- Expert-level TypeScript and Node.js, or backend experience with Go or Python.
- Experience with Three.js and WebGL for 3D visualization.
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL, including complex queries and indexing, and Redis.
- Deep experience with Grafana and Prometheus for monitoring and observability.
- Solid understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud providers including Azure.
- Experience with WebSockets, Protobuf, or similar binary data formats.
- Familiarity with ROS or ROS2 is a bonus qualification.
- Experience building developer tools or engineering productivity software is a bonus qualification.
- Knowledge of WebAssembly for performance-critical client-side logic is a bonus qualification.
