Responsibilities
- Own critical product areas from concept to production by designing and building full-stack features, making architectural decisions, validating solutions with customers, and ensuring systems scale.
- Write code and establish patterns that other engineers can build on.
- Share knowledge, improve team velocity, and help shape how engineering work is done at Opal.
Requirements
- Ability to build end-to-end solutions across frontend and backend systems
- Ability to design solutions, ship production software, and make architectural decisions
- Comfort working through ambiguous problems without a detailed playbook
- Interest in speaking directly with customers to understand their needs
- Passion for or curiosity about identity and access management or security
- Willingness to challenge requirements, propose better approaches, and understand the purpose behind the work
