Responsibilities
- Develop and implement software solutions that comply with automotive functional safety standards.
- Design, develop, integrate, test, and validate safety-critical software components for automotive systems.
- Analyze safety requirements and ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and regulations.
- Provide technical expertise, participate in code reviews, and resolve safety-related issues.
- Document software development processes and safety compliance measures for traceability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and project managers to deliver software on schedule.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Requirements
- 6 to 10 years of experience in automotive functional safety.
- Strong understanding of automotive functional safety standards and their application in software development.
- Proficiency in software development languages and tools relevant to automotive safety.
- Experience developing and implementing safety-critical software in the automotive industry.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- ISO 26262 Certification and Certified Automotive Software Engineer certification are required.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry advancements.
