Base Salary
$187k - $317k/yr
Responsibilities
- Gather user requirements and write code in various programming languages to build high-quality software.
- Assist Senior Engineers with software verification plans and quality assurance procedures.
- Produce software specifications and determine operational feasibility.
- Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation describing software requirements and solutions.
- Deploy software programs and evaluate user feedback.
- Maintain and debug software and comply with project plans, coding standards, and industry standards.
- Design and implement software service architecture for high-throughput and fault-tolerant services.
- Design and manage databases supporting online services.
Requirements
- A master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field plus one year of related work experience; or a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in one of these fields plus three years of related work experience.
- At least one year of experience developing software using Java, Go, C++, JavaScript, Ruby, or Python.
- At least one year of experience maintaining and debugging software.
- At least one year of experience designing and implementing software service architecture for high-throughput and fault-tolerant services.
- At least one year of experience designing and managing databases for online services using MySQL or Redis.
- At least one year of experience using Unix or Linux operating systems.
