Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Team Leads, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Software Engineers to deliver product features and customer solutions.
- Write and review solution designs for new developments with technical leads and architects.
- Participate in client workshops and support business analysts with requirements analysis.
- Design, develop, maintain, improve, and optimize software solutions for securities operations.
- Develop and maintain automated tests and support quality assurance.
- Take ownership of the assigned area of expertise and work within agile processes using Jira.
Requirements
- Minimum three years of relevant software development experience.
- Good knowledge of database technologies, including SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
- Knowledge of Java; Python, C++, or similar languages is valuable.
- Strong conceptual and analytical ability with a structured and autonomous approach to complex technical and business problems.
- A university degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred.
- Financial-industry or securities-trading experience, trading-system vendor experience, and knowledge of FIX, SWIFT MT, or MX/ISO 20022 are advantageous.
