Responsibilities
- Develop and implement scalable and performant solutions.
- Partner with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to develop and execute technical roadmaps.
- Use observability, alerting, metrics, high test coverage, and frequent releases to minimize risk and incrementally build value.
- Mentor and coach more junior engineers.
- Conduct thorough pull request reviews and remain receptive to critical feedback.
Requirements
- BS/BTech or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of experience building full-stack web applications as part of a cross-functional team.
- At least 3 years of experience using SQL or another database querying language on large multi-table datasets.
- At least 3 years of experience serving as a trusted technical decision-maker in a team setting.
- At least 3 years of experience coaching other engineers.
- Preferred experience includes full-stack development, server-side web technologies, data ingestion and large-scale data processing, relational databases, API design, cloud technologies, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and systems handling sensitive data.
