Base Salary
$180k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic technology advice to clients by understanding mission objectives.
- Design and guide implementation of integrated end-to-end solutions.
- Lead cloud-native architectures using Kubernetes, EKS, Aurora, and AWS services.
- Provide technical leadership to senior client technical and business stakeholders.
- Identify risks and assumptions and guide research and proof-of-concept experimentation.
- Drive innovation in client processes, public service delivery, and technical solutions.
- Guide modern delivery practices and support team members’ professional growth.
- Define and enforce application and cloud data security across the technology lifecycle.
- Research emerging technologies, processes, and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 10+ years of technical leadership and/or solution architect experience on large, multi-team products.
- Experience with cloud-native architectures, serverless event-based systems, open-source technology stacks, containers, and pipeline automation.
- Deep understanding of Agile and DevSecOps principles and practices.
- Familiarity with object-oriented design, functional programming, design patterns, modern API design, and SQL and NoSQL database design.
- Experience defining and enforcing application and cloud data security.
- Preferred qualifications include human-centered design and product management experience, diverse-team management, remote-team management, business development, familiarity with the Digital Services Playbook, and relevant management certifications.
