Responsibilities

Define SLIs and SLOs using signals from Kubernetes, bare-metal hosts, and NVIDIA infrastructure.
Design and build an API exposing SLIs and reliability state to Platform Administrators and downstream systems.
Establish alerting and error-budget practices that maximize signal and minimize noise.
Partner with infrastructure, storage, and networking teams to ensure appropriate signals are instrumented and collected.
Diagnose reliability and performance issues across the observability stack and drive resolution.

Require 5+ years of experience in SRE, platform reliability, or a closely related software/infrastructure role.
Require strong software engineering skills in Go or Python and experience building and operating production APIs or services.
Require demonstrated experience defining SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets for production systems.
Require hands-on observability experience with metrics, logging, and tracing tools such as Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, OpenTelemetry, and Grafana.
Require a solid understanding of Kubernetes and the signals emitted by Kubernetes and its workloads.
Require strong written and verbal communication with technical audiences.
Prefer experience instrumenting or monitoring bare-metal and NVIDIA infrastructure, including BMC, Redfish, InfiniBand, NVLink, and UFM.
Prefer experience with the Mirantis K0rdent stack, including K0rdent Enterprise, K0rdent AI, and KOF, and with Cluster API.
Prefer familiarity with VictoriaMetrics and VictoriaLogs at scale and experience in sovereign or high-security air-gapped environments.
