Responsibilities
- Design, code, and enhance custom software solutions across systems and applications.
- Analyze complex systems and translate requirements into effective Discrete Event Simulation models.
- Apply performance optimization and debugging techniques in simulation environments.
- Collaborate with multiple teams and contribute to key technical and team decisions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and help manage team execution.
- Lead process improvement efforts within the team.
- Mentor junior team members and support their professional development.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities to align work and deliver project milestones.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Discrete Event Simulation.
- Proficiency in Discrete Event Simulation.
- Strong programming skills in languages commonly used for simulation and modeling.
- Experience with the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and translate requirements into effective simulation models.
- Familiarity with performance optimization and debugging techniques in simulation environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in software design and implementation.
- 15 years of full-time education.
