Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, fault-tolerant backend systems for subscription lifecycle management, payment processing, and renewal workflows.
- Lead development of subscription state machines, payment orchestration layers, retry engines, entitlement services, and other core platform components.
- Build high-performance, low-latency APIs supporting real-time subscription and payment flows for millions of users across geographies.
- Implement strong observability and monitoring to support system health, uptime, and rapid incident response.
- Evaluate and adopt relevant technologies.
- Influence and lead architecture and design discussions within the team.
- Serve as a functional lead by providing guidance and technical expertise to team members.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Java, Golang, or Python.
- Experience building RESTful APIs with monitoring, fault tolerance, and metrics, including tools such as Hystrix.
- Experience with MySQL and NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, Redis, and DynamoDB.
- Experience developing server-side services using ElasticSearch.
- Experience with the AWS stack.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 7–9 years of professional experience.
