Responsibilities
- Research solutions, solve business problems, and develop the product.
- Develop detailed requirements and transform them into solution backlogs with component interworking and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with architects and stakeholders on system designs, security, observability, network integration, and unit economics.
- Develop and implement 5G SA network components using Java or another programming language.
- Create and maintain technical designs, specifications, and documentation.
- Plan and manage delivery schedules to meet launch deadlines.
- Oversee, mentor, and support developers through code reviews, troubleshooting, and best-practice guidance.
- Resolve complex technical issues and optimize network performance.
- Use AI-powered tools and methodologies to improve development, research, and documentation processes.
Requirements
- 7-15 years of experience, including mandatory telecom domain experience.
- Hands-on software development experience in a programming language such as Java, Go, C++, or Python.
- Experience with at least one of MySQL, Oracle, Cassandra, or Redis.
- Experience with Git source control and release compliance.
- Experience with 3GPP cellular network standards, including familiarity with Release 15 or later.
- Knowledge of cellular identifiers, SS7, Diameter, HTTP/2, AAA/RADIUS, SMS, SMPP, and VoLTE.
- Experience with API development and security, OAuth2, PKI, mTLS, and SSL.
- Knowledge of IP networks, packet inspection, routing, IP allocation, subnets, CIDR, and IPv6.
- Experience using AI-powered coding assistants, prompt engineering, and GenAI for technical research and documentation.
- Bachelor of Science or higher in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, discussion leadership, and customer presentation skills.
- Desirable experience with GCP, AWS, Azure, Spring Boot, Docker or containers, Kubernetes, C/C++, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
- Desirable experience as an Agile Scrum Master.
