Base Salary
$244k - $366k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement core data platform capabilities such as event ingestion and stream processing.
- Define and uphold SLOs for data freshness, availability, and correctness.
- Author architectural decision records and standardize data contracts and connectors.
- Profile, tune, and optimize systems for performance and cost.
- Collaborate with product teams to expose the right abstractions for customer value.
- Contribute high-quality code and mentor other engineers through example.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience building and operating distributed data systems.
- Technical expertise in data ingestion, stream processing, and governance.
- Experience applying AI tools and automation in data platforms.
- Ability to influence and enable teams through design documentation and mentoring.
- Fluency in AI and a willingness to experiment and share learnings.
