Base Salary
$262k - $364k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and deliver ML frameworks for training large language models and stable diffusion models for Google Cloud customers.
- Design and implement cloud-based AI framework software for language modeling, stable diffusion, ranking, and recommendation workloads.
- Identify and resolve software, performance, and topology issues.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and other engineering teams throughout the software project lifecycle.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software solutions.
- Lead technical project strategy, ML design, project priorities, deadlines, deliverables, and technical direction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 8 years of experience in software development, such as Python.
- At least 7 years of experience leading technical project strategy, ML design, and working with ML infrastructure, including model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, debugging, and fine-tuning.
- At least 5 years of experience with speech/audio, reinforcement learning, ML infrastructure, or another ML specialization.
- At least 5 years of experience with software design and architecture and with testing or launching software products.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- Experience with ML modeling and scaling, large-scale distributed systems or ML systems, LLM or image-generation training, and cloud-based services including GCP.
Benefits
- US base salary of $262000-$364000, plus a 25% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
