Base Salary
$141k - $229k/yr
Responsibilities
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from feature concept through production release.
- Lead frontend application development using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Svelte, and Next.js.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs across backend and frontend systems with cross-functional partners.
- Troubleshoot data, integration, service, and user-interface issues across a large distributed codebase.
- Develop and execute unit and integration tests.
- Contribute technical documentation to improve maintainability, knowledge sharing, and team velocity.
- Use AI tooling, preferably Claude, to accelerate software design, architecture, and implementation while maintaining engineering judgment and code quality.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience building consumer-facing web applications.
- At least 4 years of experience with or strong proficiency in React and Next.js.
- Fluency in TypeScript and JavaScript and willingness to work with new technologies.
- Experience with Tailwind CSS.
- Experience with Svelte is a plus.
- Knowledge of appropriate security, testing, documentation, and monitoring best practices.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and comfort using AI tooling, preferably Claude, in daily engineering work.
