Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable backend software components, microservices, APIs, and integration solutions.
- Implement and manage containerized applications and develop scripts and tools for operational and deployment automation.
- Gather and document functional and non-functional requirements, write JIRA stories, and define acceptance criteria.
- Write, automate, execute, and document test cases, including integration, usability, and accessibility testing.
- Maintain documentation for code, architecture, procedures, and operational tools.
- Collaborate with Architecture, Data Management, DevOps, operations, development, and business teams.
- Apply version control, branching, merging, secure development, and data architecture practices.
- Mentor team members, provide development estimates, facilitate knowledge transfer, and support team culture.
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
- At least 2 years of professional experience with Java development, or at least 2 years with .NET, .NET Core, and C# development.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JUnit, and Mockito, or with .NET technologies and NUnit or MSTest.
- Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
- Experience with Maven, Gradle, GitHub Actions, SonarCloud, Git, containers, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of design patterns, software architecture, SOLID principles, TDD, ATDD, BDD, Scrum, and Jira.
- Experience using SAST and DAST tools and CI/CD practices.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, adaptability, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies within Spin's technology stack.
